DIGITAL FASHION WEEK
– illustrating a new reality

Digital Fashion week

‘Digital fashion week is here to stay, which is not a bad thing. It is fun, interactive, experimental. But we (as artists) don’t want to be simple observers, we all aspire to become game-changers.
We want to be heard and to have access to this immense creative playground.’

‘When illustrating during Fashion Weeks, I have to act quicker and most of the time I’m skipping the research phase. I try to emotionally connect with the brand or a particular collection.
Often I would start from a small detail, that captured my attention, gradually expanding my illustration like a spider’s net. The result might be surprising. ‘

‘I don’t capture clothes or brands, and neither models. I try to express the way they make me feel.
As feelings are timeless, so becomes my art.’

‘Art needs time and reflection. Magic doesn’t happen overnight.’
